Would be fantastic if there were more options for vegetarian families.

This a great recommendation! Since this was a test run we can share your thoughts with the businesses. We are hoping that more join in next time now that they see what it’s about.

Hi Megan, we posted vegetarian dumplings as one of the options from Junction but like Laurie said it was a test run and we figured we’d put up one non vegetarian dish and one vegetarian one, but if the CBC does it more in the future we’ll offer more vegetarian options and I am sure the other businesses will too :)

I agree with Megan. It would be nice to see more vegetarian options.

It looks like this week there are more options for vegetarians. Harmon Deli, Tapsmith, Piato, Eatalia, Jt’s Junction, 105-twenty, and The Tavern.

Yes, we have reached out to Raga. They have not signed up yet. We have reached out to everyone and anyone is welcome to join in at any time. I suggest sharing your thoughts with your favorite places. The more they hear people want them to participate the more likely they would join in or adjust what they offer.

I keep looking every week for something vegetarian that my family would enjoy.

      Hi Megan,

Black Rock Kitchen, had vegetarian burgers, Piato Greek Kitchen has “You don’t eat no meat” moussaka (vegetarian) with side Greek salad, JT’s has vegetarian dumplings, Harmon Deli is offering Eggplant Parmesan, Baked by Susan has vegetarian Empanadas, Tapsmith has vegetarian rice balls, and there is a variety of Artisan Pizzas from a couple of the places that you can choose vegetarian. I don’t know what you are looking for so it would make sense to reach out to your favorite restaurant and ask. They decide what to offer. I know Raga will be joining in next week and will be offering 10% off any order for dinner on Wed. That might work for you and your family. I hope that works for you. Thanks for reaching out!
