Calling ALL Parents!
 Do you have a kid that loves to act, sing, and dance? Then listen up, Westchester Broadway Theater is holding non-union children’s auditions for their upcoming production of ANNIE.  Annie the Musical is based on the 1920s Harold Gray’s popular comic “Little Orphan Annie”.  Since its inception, generation after generation have fallen in love with the little red head with a heart of gold! Don’t miss this opportunity to share this iconic story with the next generation of artists, performers, and theatre lovers. Sure to be a welcome addition to the Westchester Broadway Theatre line-up.

Auditions will be held Saturday May 20, 2017, at Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford. (Callbacks will be Wednesday May 24th)

Rehearsals: Week of June 12th

Runs: June 29th-September 10th 2017

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS 

-All girls must be 4’11” or less. 

-All girls must be at least 6 years old at the time of the first rehearsal. 

*We will be measuring everyone when they sign in. Anyone over the height requirement or under the age requirement will not be seen.*

*Please be sure your child meets these requirements.*

-Children auditioning will be considered for all roles. If your child has a preference please notate on audition card. 

– Non-union children. 

– Must be willing/able to interact with a professional dog 

Seeking The Roles Of: 

Annie – to play 11yr old. Spunky, big voice, excellent & accurate singing range, comedic timing & good mover – Caucasian.

Pepper– to play 11 yr. old. Tough cookie of group of orphans, excellent & accurate singing range, comedic timing & good mover – All ethnicity. 

Kate – to play 7 yr. old. 2nd youngest orphan, excellent & accurate singing range, great comedic timing, and be a good mover – All ethnicity. 

Molly – to play 6 yr. old. The littlest orphan. Must have excellent singing & dancing skills – All ethnicity. 

Tessie – to play 10 yr. old. A cry-baby. Must have excellent singing & dancing skills – All ethnicity. 

July – to play 12 yr. old. The quietest of the orphans. Must have excellent singing & dancing skills – All ethnicity. 

Duffy – to play 12 yr. old. The biggest & eldest orphan. Must have excellent singing & dancing skills – All ethnicity. 

*Orphans age range in the show is 6 to 12. Actual age is not as important as height and ability to act younger.*
