Her advice and guidance could literally save you a fortune !! I cannot encourage you to call her strongly enough. When you’re dealing with a loved ones declining health and the sadness that goes along with that you need an advocate, an advisor who knows the system inside & out. Somebody with a level head to advise you on what’s available and how to get those services. August 13, 2017 at 5:44 pmColin, literally saved my mother’s life. My mother has all her faculties but is unable to ambulate and care for her self in terms of bathing and dressing. My mother attended a workshop where she heard Colin speaking about the services that are available to seniors, while being able to remain in their home. I told my mother that she must not have heard correctly that is only available if you are in a nursing home. Finally, feeling desperate and needing help to care for my parents, I called Colin for a consultation. She explained the process and what was necessary with working with DSS, provided guidance for setting up the appropriate trust, and provided support in working with the home health aide agencies. I do not know where we would be if it was not for Colin’s experience and expertise in guiding us through this process. Since 2010, my mother and I have recommended Colin to our family and friends. She has saved countless families the heartache of feeling helpless.
