Our Mission
Long are the days when music lessons were a drag. At Croton Harmon Music Academy, we want our students to explore their creative potential! Each lesson is shaped based on theinterests, goals and needs of the student, making it a truly personal and unique learning experience.
We encourage our students to challenge themselves. Finding your musical voice isn’t always easy, but who says that hard work can’t be fun?
Imagine a place where music learning feels like an adventure. Our classes are a mixture of goal oriented curriculums to give students the foundational training they want – while still having the freedom of open exploration to focus on specific interests and even try new ones.
People are not all the same, so why should there be just one way for them to learn? We strive to make our classroom environment as dynamic as the musicians they are helping mold. Rather it’s a piano lesson or a film scoring course in our Croton Harmon Studios, each room has a voice of it’s own – giving students the comfort and confidence to build their own voice.
A variety of resources are made available to all students who enroll, including exclusive access to complimentary workshops held once a month on topics such as the science of sound, instrument making, brick film stop motion and more! We offer this in hopes that students will push themselves to try something new and discover connections between different types of music.
Ultimately, our goal is for our students to discover themselves musically, using our classrooms a positive creative outlet.

When not working on music, Andrew spends his time playing soccer, brewing, hiking, watching nature documentaries and spending time with his dog Mason.
