WELCOME TO CROTON KARATE
We offer a different approach to Martial Arts training. We offer FIVE days of training per week, with classes at varied times to accommodate all our members.
What sets Croton Karate apart from the rest?
1. Sensei Peter Doherty teaches all classes personally.
2. One membership gives you access of up to five classes a week! You are not limited to 1-2x a week.
3. There are no test fees for colored belts. Your hard work is your fee!
Croton Karate Dojo was founded in 2005 by Sensei Peter Doherty with the mission of bringing a well rounded martial arts training to students of all ages. Sensei Doherty teaches from a foundation in traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate and incorporates elements from other martial arts and self defense training. His goal is to equip each of his students with the knowledge and ability necessary to defend themselves, whether in the ring or in real world situations.
At Croton Karate we believe in teaching respect and discipline as an integrated part of martial arts training, and we seek to build self-esteem, character, and strength in each student.
Programs include:
Mini Dragons (3 1/2 to 5 year olds), Kids Karate and Adult Classes.
Please take time to explore our site and see the family that we have built here at Croton Karate.
