Both wines were purchased from your local wine merchants and are priced under $15

VOUVRAY 2014, Les Vaux Louis (FR)

Vouvray is a town in the Loire Valley and the best known grape grown in the eight villages around the town is Chenin Blanc. This Vouvray has a golden color and a bouquet of peach and lemon. Good Acidity is balanced with attractive flavors of green apples, honeysuckle and honey. A fresh, lemony finish makes this a great dinner wine.

PINOT NOIR 2013, Murphy-Goode (CA)

Using grapes from various vineyards along the California coast, this Pinot Noir has a deep cherry color and a bouquet of cooked fruit with hints of cinnamon. The palate is well balanced between flavors of vanilla from the French and American oak and black cherry flavors and spice. Cherry flavors follow right through to the finish.
